Next APPU Postal Business Forum to take place in Bangkok

The Asian-Pacific Postal Union (APPU) has announced that its 5th Postal Business Forum will take place in Bangkok, Thailand, from November 28-30, 2016.

Confirmed speakers include

• Zhao Xiaoguang, deputy director general, State Post Bureau of China;

• Gilarsi Wahju Setijono, CEO, POS Indonesia;

• D L P R Abeyrathne, postmaster general, Sri Lanka Post;

• Dr Sohail Choudhry and Dene Green, New Zealand Post;

• Kim Hong-Jae, director, Korea Post;

• Phitsanu Wanitchaphol, senior executive vice president (business development), Thailand Post;

• V P Singh, deputy director general, India Post;

• Masahiko Metoki, vice president, Japan Post; and

• Rubina Tayyab, director general, Pakistan Post.

Other speakers include senior executives from Alibaba, Lalamove, International Post Corporation, DHL and leading postal suppliers.

Other participants from APPU members across the Asian-Pacific region will also take part.
