CitySprint to hire 200 seasonal couriers

UK-based same-day carrier CitySprint has announced it is looking to hire more than 200 additional couriers in the run up to Christmas.

The new recruits will join CitySprint’s fleet of more than 3,200 couriers to support both ongoing business growth and increased seasonal demand. Last year the company recorded its busiest day on Friday, December 18, and it fully expects peak season demand to run from Black Friday to the final days before Christmas again this year.

Patrick Gallagher, CEO, CitySprint, said, “We understand that peak season is one of the most demanding times of the year for our clients, and we’re committed to going the extra mile to support them. Bolstering our fleet will allow us to deliver the first class service we’re known for during this busy period.

“2016 has been an exciting year for CitySprint. We’ve invested in new technology, rolled out new offerings and welcomed a new investor, and we’re looking forward to ending it on a high.”

CitySprint is recruiting pushbike, motorcycle, car and van couriers. For more information on becoming a CitySprint courier, click here.
