It is also equipped with a stronger engine and a new lithium-ion battery with a range of up to 100km (62 miles). Deutsche Post DHL aims to have more than 170 StreetScooter Work L vehicles on the road by the end of the year and will use them for the joint delivery of letters and parcels.

Achim Kampker, head of electromobility at Deutsche Post DHL and CEO of StreetScooter, said, “The IAA Commercial Vehicles trade fair is the perfect platform for showcasing electromobility as the future of environmentally friendly delivery operations.”
